200mm x 47mm (8" x 2") is one of the larger timber sizes we carry in stock. Often used as floor or ceiling joists, used extensively in roof construction and commonly used for supports in decking projects. This larger size is also handy for raised beds and other planters.

It comes pressure treated for extra durability and is now supplied 'Easi-Edge'. This means slightly rounded corners and smooth faces for easier handling and use. It also makes it more appealing for use in garden projects where it's likely to be touched and you want to avoid rough and splintered edges.
