47mm x 47mm (2" x 2") treated is a great size for a multitude of jobs. It's ideal for stud partitions, roof work and decking applications to mention but a few. As with most of our treated timber, this product is supplied Easi-Edge, meaning it is smooth planed and has rounded corners, making it much nicer to handle and work with. It being pressure treated makes it ideal for outdoor application or where it may be damp as the treatment resists insect attach and rotting.
Please note size stated is nominal in line with industry standards. Actual size approx. 44mm x 44mm.

Please just advertise the correct size 30 August 2023 | Simon
Listing clearly states size as 50mmx47mm. Ordered 17 lengths only to find they were 44mmx44mm. I was told read the small print it states “finished size 44mmx44mm”. Then WHY NOT advertise them as 44mmx44mm ? It would save a lot of confusion. When you buy a litre of pop you get a litre not 800ml with a small label on the bottle stating 1 litre bottle (only filled to 800ml)

I’m sorry to hear you are not happy with the products you have received. As stated in the key facts and product description, the finished size is approx. 44mm x 44mm. Nice wood and fast delivery, cant go wrong. Thank you very much. Although at least a note to say it had arrived 2 weeks early would of been nice, but it was a nice surprise.
